Voicemail Web Client

Important!
In order for Voicemail to answer, your Campus telephone must have "Forwards" to Voicemail's 7590 number set in the Telephone system itself. An easy way to check is to dial "Pound 6" (for the "Doesn't Answer" Forward after 4-5 rings) or "Pound 3" (for the "Busy" Forward when your line is busy). If you hear four tones, then the respective Forward is not set, so enter  7  5  9  0  and you'll hear the four tones again. Hang up and you're ready to go!

If you get a busy signal after dialing a "Pound" code, then a Forward is set... to something. If you discover it isn't Voicemail that's answering when someone should be getting your Voicemail, dial "Star 6" or "Star 3" to erase the respective Forward (you'll hear four confirmation tones) and hang up. Now try the "Pound" code again. You'll hear the four confirmation tones, so enter  7  5  9  0  and you'll hear the four tones again. Hang up and you're ready to go!

Remember to check both your "Pound 6 Doesn't Answer" and "Pound 3 Busy" Forwards!

When you browse to the Web Client, the login screen is similar for both PC and mobile devices. You will see a field to enter your 5-digit Mailbox Number (Username) and a field for your Security Code. Most Mailbox Numbers are 1 plus your 4-digit Campus telephone number. If your telephone number has multiple Voicemail Accounts, you're already familiar if your Mailbox Number starts with something other than 1.

Your Security Code is the same one you've always entered using the telephone keypad after calling Voicemail.

Depending on your browser and options given to save logins the first time you log in, the Mailbox Number or Security Code information may be saved for the next time you log in.

Once in your account, you will be at your Inbox where you will see if there are any messages. New messenges will be in bold.

Clicking on the message will drop down player controls. On a PC the slider to the left controls the playback speed, the slider on the right controls playback volume. Both PC and mobile have the Play triangle, Reload circular arrow and the Progress Bar.

When the message checkbox is checked, the PC version displays options to delete, save and mark as read or unread. Additional options to reply and forward the message appeared in the message subject bar when the message was selected. In the mobile version, all these options appear at the bottom when the message's checkbox is checked.

In the PC version, clicking the User icon in the upper right next to your Name and Mailbox Number provides a drop-down with the option to Logout. In the mobile version, the 3-line menu icon in the upper left provides the fly-out menu with the Logout option. In both PC and mobile versions, the 3-line flyout contains links to your Inbox, Saved and Deleted folders, along with a link to the online Help.
