Adobe Printing PDF on Mac

Issue/Question

• Mac not printing PDF
• Trouble printing PDFs from Mac computers to a copier with department codes. 

Environment

• Mac computers printing to Toshiba copiers with department codes from Adobe Reader. 

Cause

• Adobe isn't using the preset with the department code. 

Resolution

• When you go to print, click on the "Printer" button 
• If prompted click "Yes" to use system dialog box.
• If department codes have already been setup on the system and saved as a Preset, make sure that preset is selected (Usually Default Settings-1).
• Click "Print" 
• Click "Print" again from the Adobe dialog box. 

Notes

• If department codes are not setup, you will need to save a preset.
• If you don't see the details, click "Show Details" button 
• Click on the "Layout" dropdown menu and select "Print Mode"
  
• Check Department Code and enter the user code
• Then click on the Presets dropdown and select "Save Current Settings as Preset..." click "OK"

• Print and make sure it works correctly
